My parcel is not moving: what the statuses mean
Last checked:
Statuses often stop for a few days, especially around customs, and that alone does not mean the parcel is held. 6 days at customs is not much. If there is no change at all for 8–12 days, open a ticket in LitBuy with the tracking number.
Order statuses, up to the warehouse
- Pending Orders. LitBuy is still processing the order and buying from the seller. This usually takes 2–7 days; some sellers are slower, so 4 days is not unusual. If nothing moves for about a week, open a ticket: LitBuy will ask the seller or refund you for that item.
- In Transit to Warehouse. The seller has sent the item to LitBuy’s warehouse.
- Arrived at Warehouse. The item is at the warehouse and you see its QC photos. Now the return timer runs, about 5 days. See QC photos and returns.
- Awaiting parcel submission. Everything is at the warehouse and LitBuy shows the weight of each item. What is left is to create the parcel.
- Awaiting packing. The warehouse is packing the parcel. In busy periods this takes longer: in September 2026 there were delays because of typhoons and the start of the school year.
Parcel statuses, after sending
- Customs in Amsterdam or the Netherlands, then the export parcel centre in Germany. The parcel is on the last stretch to the destination country.
- “The international shipment has been processed in the export parcel center”. The parcel has cleared customs. To Bulgaria, for example, about 7–10 more days to the door usually remain.
- Customs in the destination country (EMS). Local customs is processing the parcel and the postal service may ask for documents or duty. If it lasts more than a week, open a ticket in LitBuy with the tracking number and contact the postal service.
- Delivery by the local courier. The last stretch is handled by a courier or the post in your country.
How much waiting is normal
After the parcel leaves, statuses often stop for a few days: for example while the parcel is in the air or waiting at customs. That alone does not mean it is held. 6 days at customs is not much. Dates on tracking sites are approximate and move; the real status is in the LitBuy app.
When to write to LitBuy
- The order has been in Pending Orders for about a week.
- The parcel has had no change at all for 8–12 days.
- An EMS parcel has been at customs in the destination country for over a week (and contact the postal service).
- You pressed “Confirm receipt” by mistake: the parcel does not stop, but tell support.
Put the tracking number in the ticket so you do not lose time.
Text messages about duty
On a DHL tax-free line a text message about duty is unusual. Do not pay or open links from such a message until LitBuy confirms it is real. More in Customs and duty.
Track the parcel
The number is in the LitBuy app: Parcel → View Tracking. Paste it into the package tracker to see the whole history in one place and what the current status means.
